Meet the Team

Departmental Director

Pastor Tran Quoc Khoi

Tran Quoc Khoi holds a degree in theology from Spicer University, India, and a Master’s in Ministry from the Adventist International Institute of Advanced Studies (AIIAS), Philippines. He has served as a church planter in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and has contributed to various ministries within the Vietnam Mission. Currently, he serves as the Youth Director of SEUM, where he leads initiatives to support and empower young people in their faith journey.

With a passion for youth ministry, Tran Quoc Khoi is committed to nurturing young leaders and fostering spiritual growth among the next generation. Through mentorship, training, and outreach programs, he seeks to inspire young people to actively engage in their faith and mission.

Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Niranat Thadchai

Niranat Thadchai has been serving as the Administrative Assistant to Pastor Tran Quoc Khoi and Mrs. Phouangmala Kongsengphengphet at the Southeastern Asia Union Mission (SEUM) since October 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Asia-Pacific International University (formerly Mission College), a Master’s degree in Guidance and Psychological Counseling from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching Profession from St. John’s University.

With a background in school administration and counseling, Niranat brings a wealth of experience in office management, communication, and coordination. She is highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at handling complex administrative responsibilities. Her ability to manage tasks efficiently while providing strong support to leadership contributes to the smooth operations of SEUM’s offices.

Youth Ministries

Youth Ministries equips and mentors young people to be active in their faith and mission. By providing practical resources, training, and leadership opportunities, the department fosters a vibrant youth presence in every church. Through various programs and initiatives, young people are empowered to embrace their calling and contribute to the Great Commission. With the mission to lead youth into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, the department ensures that the next generation is spiritually engaged and prepared to share the Advent message with the world.

Communication

The Communication Department serves as a vital link between the Church, its members, and the public, ensuring clear, effective, and impactful messaging. By utilizing modern media, digital platforms, and strategic public relations, the department enhances the Church’s visibility and outreach. It supports SEUM, local conferences, universities, and other entities through training, consulting, and information dissemination. Whether through signage, websites, social media, or other communication channels, the department strives to keep members informed and accurately represent the Church to the wider community.

Chaplaincy Ministries

Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries (ACM) empowers committed and compassionate chaplains to serve in diverse religious and secular environments. As specialized pastors, Seventh-day Adventist chaplains provide spiritual care in private and public educational institutions, hospitals, prisons, military services, and community settings. ACM supports chaplains across all missions and institutions within the Southeastern Asia Union Mission (SEUM), ensuring they are equipped to minister effectively. Their mission is to proclaim the everlasting gospel, restoring shattered humanity to wholeness in its relationship with God.

Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL)

The Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) Department upholds the God-given gift of religious freedom, playing a vital role in the Church’s prophetic mission and evangelistic outreach. PARL works globally to create favorable conditions for sharing the gospel, fostering relationships that enhance credibility, trust, and understanding of the Adventist faith. Through advocacy, public engagement, and peaceful dialogue, the department seeks to dispel misconceptions about the Church and establish its relevance in the broader public sphere.
